Ever seen someone not wearing proper attire at a funeral

I normally wear a suit, but I have been to a few where I have worn a Black button up shirt and black slacks.

Going to funerals in the summer in Texas when its 104 outside isn't wavy

But at the end of the day, its doesn't matter as long as you come to pay your respects. People can wear street clothes at my funeral as long as they come out

My Uncle's funeral was kinda wild, one of his cousins form the country was wearing jorts and a tattered "lovely day for a guinness" t shirt. Also, he kinda looked like an elderly pootie tang.

Problem is that as society is becoming less religious, the more formal people dress. I give another 30 years before funerals become 100% casual.
