Idk if thats true breh most of the time Genes are passed on. You look like your parents and most of the time you are tall like or just as tall as your father.. look at the NBA players Sons .. Bron , Wade, Shaq , Klay, Both of the Currys, Zach Lavine, Aaron Gordon, Devin Booker , Eli Manning , Payton Manning even Magics Son have their fathers genetics in height.

Giant people will make giant kids, what I'm saying is the guys who are 6'10" but their dads are like 6'3". They have tall genetics, but they're also anomalies too. That's what it took for them to reach their heights.
