Yeah, I have a few homeboys who are that way and have been for a mintue.

One potna is 31 and hasn't had a car or his license since he was 25

The other is on probation and has to wear an ankle bracelet so he doesn't drink alcohol

Back in 06' I fell off and had to start from stratch, I had a one bedroom apt in the hood and a Saturn I bought for $300 from an auction.

Them nikkas seen me grind and come up to the point that I moved out the hood into a house in the burbs, Got a Jeep thats paid for and going some shyt going on business wise..

I be telling them, fukk some rims, fukk some Jordans, fukk some ice. nikkas look at me like One them came up on some money and had a chance to get his license renewed and pay off his rent for a few month but instead he bought half a pound of weed that he ended up some most of and sold the rest for very little profit.

At a certain point you just gotta do YOU, I haven't cut them off but I don't come through and kick it as much. I got kids so when i get some free time I'm trying to make moves but they just want to sit in the crib, smoke weed and play NBA2k13 and Madden all day.

I'ma loyal dude so they always gonna be the homies, but its true what they say. If you want to be successful, surround yourself with successful people. It be depressing when all them nikkas want to do is to hit a lick so they get a Big Flat Screen TV. I'm past that, I'm trying to get info about investing, going on vacations, shyt like that. We just kinda on two different levels right now.

I still smoke weed, i still like ignorant rap music, I still play PS3, and I still go kick it in the hood but those things aren't my focus anymore, fukk some shoebox/hustling money. I'm trying to get it like them white people do so My kids will have money and their kids will have money...
