Ever get tired of praying?

I hate when your going through something and the first thing somebody suggest to you is "to pray on it" praying on it doesn't change shyt. I swear I've been praying for so long on things to be better in my life ..in addition mind you,to being practical also ..and I feel like I'm getting nowhere. Honestly sometimes it makes it harder for me to believe in god. I've been through shyt in my life just like the next person but damn,a nikka gets tired of being pushed back. It's like a taste of success is hard to come by nowadays. I posted my "anti god" rant on FB and the Jesus freaks were losing their mind... I'm like fukk y'all..str8 up. U don't live my live therefore you don't know what I go through . Seems like religion is a fukking coping mechanism nowadays.. Pray for better days while struggling brehs

he doesn't always answer they way you want him to...but that doesn't mean he didn't answer. and in the end however he answers your prayers was the right answer because a perfect god doesn't make mistakes. you've just gotta find a way to accept his answer. just my beliefs.

If god exists whats the point in "accepting" his "decisions?" Wouldn't god make you do it anyways? How would you even know to take up fault with it?

I don't know breh that's horrible that she got cancer, my wifes grandma is going through it and every day she's in pain. Praying works for me and it's helped other people, if it doesn't work for you or you don't like it I'm not religous or anything it's just something I learned to do when I was young and is one of my tools for dealing with tough times in life.

If prayer works, we can measure its effects, right?

sorry about your lilttle cuz. i've lost fam too and i just have to remember that god can bring them back today if he wants and he will bring our loved ones back. so they're gone but only for a little while.

I'm not trying to step on anyone's beliefs, but for me I found it more easier going through live without relying on things like this. Once I started the process of thinking logically and understanding that there is nothing supernatural out there doing me favors, life was easier to understand.
