He did look swollen :lolbron:. I think Spence walks around at a much heavier weight (+15-20 lbs) when not training though, kind of like Canelo. Its not uncommon.:yeshrug:

I mean, you'll never see greats like Mayweather, Hopkins, ward etc drunk and ballooning in weight.

ill never understand what spence is talking about not fighting on espn....espn has more visibility than showtime and possibly more money to throw around lol

I think there's more money in the pot when on premium cable channels. Or at least that's what's been said. Not sure if it's true

There are plenty of other greats though that fluctuated in weight between fights though. It is what it is. :yeshrug:

But they didn't have longevity. Their candles burned fast. Floyd and B-Hop fought at the elite level for 20+ years. Not 3 to 5 years of dominance with a steady or even rapid decline.

We heard this and I know why he's saying so even if he's exaggerating but I never understood what comes out of this.

So he hasn't fought elite dudes

Were elite dudes around in 135 and 140 when he fought in them? Not really.
Are they around now? Yeah but Spence himself said politics are reality in boxing and Crawford is on the wring side.
So after we cleared all that up what's the point in criticising him for not fighting elite opponents if it's not his fault?

Critiquing someone for something he can't do nothing about is lame.

I understand what you're saying but it’s still a valid criticism

Loma will likely never be a PPV draw. He’s skillful but his status is inflated
Bud will never be a PPV star with them not actually showing him on real PPV and taking him out of view of the casual and common fan with the ESPN+ bullshyt.
You can do that with Manny, he is already established and his contract was over but he still had a name, you don't do that with someone you are trying to get exposure for and make a legit star. SMH
