The likelihood is they are hybrid players ...so your right, they arent Jon Ritchie they tend to be part FB, part H back, part TE and core ST player that way they suit up every Sunday. I actually wanted the Eagles to get Wesco from WV, he is on the Jets.
I think this player would be the ideal 3rd TE on the eagles roster.
I am not saying having this player is the end all be all.

One thing I notice about me going back and looking at the YouTube vids when Nick foles was playing ...it the the play book was kept simple. Why don't we just Keep the playbook simple ...then release some of our more devastated plays later ?

Foles thrives on an RPO heavy offense, my guess is Wentz doesn't like that same offense. At NDSU, they ran a prostyle offensr that had some similarities to an NFL playbook altho it wasnt WCO.
I feel like the offense under Groh And Doug just seems disjointed, as crazy as it may sound....I wonder if we can bring in Jay Gruden in to replace Groh. He fits alot of what Reich was in terms of background in the nfl.

Not a fan of Smallwood, he tries hard but he is bad in pass protection and he can only run whats blocked for him.
The passing attack is the problem, and not having Desean or a speedster cant be the sole excuse.

Nah Wentz has a higher Football IQ than Foles.
Foles wasnt changing calls at the line of scrimmage like Wentz does. That Miles Sanders TD yesterday was all Wentz.
Remember Foles was struggling picking up from Wentz left off during the superbowl run.
They simplified the playbook and incorporated those RPOs that he was so successful with in the Chip Kelly system.
One thing about Foles that Wentz hasn't mastered is the way he throws the deep, intermediarry and short ball with touch, there is this float to Foles ball that is hard to explain. When I see Wentz, he throws like missiles all the time that has to be near precise and is not as easy to catch.
