Let's all do ourselves a favor and just never have high hopes for this team again.

Came into this season thinking we were Super Bowl contenders. :mjlol:

fukk it. Season is dead. Time to look forward to some huge changes in the offseason. :manny: Step 1: Fire the OC, DC, WR Coach, and DB coach.

Lol I knew better then that .

Just to add to the Foles discussion, even though it is a silly argument since that ship been sailed.....but Foles injury history for whatever reason never gets brought up. He stays on the injury report, dude misses significant games every year and is borderline Mr. Glass at this point. You can't throw the bank at a guy like that who will be 31 in less than 2 months after you gave up the house to draft Carson.

didn’t Foles get benched in Jacksonville?? Now that the team has moved on , stop playing WHAT IF scenarios, the eagles aren’t gonna trade up and draft a QB right now . Wentz is our future .
We're really still arguing this? Wentz has not been good as of late (though today wasn't on him), but Foles is horrible right now. Dude is getting outplayed by a 6th Round rookie.

Wentz got paid $100+ million and extended until 2024. The debate is done. He's our QB for the foreseeable future. All that can be done now is to focus on getting him good weapons and coaches in the offseason.

since the sb win..we lost a lot of our offensive identity due to varying factors..the only thing flukish to me that year was how much production we got that from makeshift secondary..but yeah the season should and needs to be last straw for some of the aging players and the secondary

Every week it’s the same fukking thing. Defense gets cooked and Schwartz doubles down on his dumb ass scheme and we continue to get cooked. Receivers drop more passes than they catch. Wentz either holds the ball until he gets sacked or overthrows his receiver.

And then every few weeks they’ll beat a team they have no business beating just before we all lose our last hope. Rinse and repeat.

I don't think it's happening this year. We might split with the Giants and beat the Redskins to go 7-9, and that's the team's ceiling at this point. We certainly won't beat Dallas.

And honestly, maybe that's a good thing. I think the late-season 2018 turnaround fooled everyone into thinking the Eagles were better than they really are, and that it was the injuries that fukked everything up. At least a season like this forces the kind of shakeups that could lead to positive changes later down the line.

Oh it does. At least by me lol. I've brought that up many many times. That's why I mention that he has never played a full 16 game season. He has never even played 3/4ths of a season as the starter. He has had some atrocious games, with God awful stat lines, IN PHILLY.

That is why I will always maintain that the smart move was to sign the guy who you spent all that draft capital to move up for. The one who is younger. The one who had a MVP like season, not even embellishing, a legit MVP season. The one who lead the team to highest scoring offense in the league. To the best record in the league. And actually looked the part of a top tier QB. I just hope the injury and subsequent back injury hasn't made him a what if story. But if it does... then he still gunna catch the hate. Ain't no room for excuses or feeling sorry for nikkas in Philly.

Anyway, you give ALL of that away for a journeyman who played well in 2 playoff games? Granted, it was the NFCCG and SB, but that is Matt Cassell levels of dumb to give Foles 20+ milly when you really look at his career. FOH.

:heh:

I'm done raging. I gotta watch highlights of the game to get back to laughing and in a better mood. This Foles talk irritates me.

And you obviously aren't getting much argument over that. So the hill you are dying on is a pointless hill to die on... because name one person in this thread who is going heavy in the paint for Wentz. Go back through all these pages and show me the person who is unwilling to be critical of Wentz or call him out for his complete trash play?

Since there is none. All you have left is to say that we should have kept Foles over Wentz, and wow... you wanna die on THAT hill???

Word

Out of all the blame to go around today But how was this game Wentz fault tho :mjlol:. In fact most of the losses weren't Wentz's fault.

Defense and Schwartz scheme showed their ass again finally got exposed against Fitzpatrick again.

In a perfect world Schwartz and the DB coach along with Darby and Mills would have kicked rocks after super bowl 52 when Brady Lit them up.

Wentz played like hot garbage at home against the seahawks and against Dallas. I pointed it out objectively in this thread but overall, objectively, he has been the least of this team's problems, injuries, receivers and drops and inconsistent defense.

Like the c00nboys want Garrett gone, I really want Schwartz and Groh and whoever the DB coach is. Like everytime the ball is thrown deep we are assed out like I'm expecting a jump ball catch or PI rather than a pass break up. And like Sidney Jones should have been at least competent at this point. Coaching of these nikkas has been bad.

And Agholor needs to fukkin go, thank you for ur heroics in 2017-2018 but this season tho:scust:

I like the vast majority of the Eagles fan base on this forum. nikkas will keep it funky. I don't see people being stupid and making every excuse for their favorite player just because. So Wentz is absolutely, and rightfully getting bombed on for his poor play. It will continue until he plays better. I mentioned before that even Dawkins had to catch it. I personally don't play favorites and don't know many Philly sports fans that do. We call it like we see it, the way its supposed to be. So salute to the vast majority of yall brehs.

@NYSTATEOFMIND is a Gawdert stan ( I'm going to use the word stan in a joking manner to make my points ) yet he's been on record talking his shyt when he fukks up

@So UnThotful was/is a Adams stan and he had to toss homie in the bushes and didn't make excuses for him. Just hit him with the :francis: and kept it pushing.

@Jerz-2 I forgot the player he spoke highly about... but same thing

@Asantehene has multiple players, but I believe Nelly is one of them... took him a while, a looong while lol, but sure enough, he came around

As for me, I'm probably the biggest Barnett stan on here... when/if he starts looking poor or continues to have dumb ass personal foul penalties, guess who will be first to shyt on him.

And because we lost Reich and have shytty ass Groh, I still won't use that as an excuse for Wentz poor play. He gotta unfukk himself too... can't just rely on the coaching. He is the #2 pick, I don't wanna hear that he needs the absolute best coaching in order to succeed.

I don't know whether it was on here or on BGN, but after Nelly dropped that last touchdown pass last week or against the Pats, I remember him being compared to Todd Pinkston. When all opinions were put on the table... Pinkston was truly better in literally every way except run after the catch. I'd kill to have Pinkston on the team right now.:wow:

there is only one clear cut first round safety and even he is having a down year- safety should be high priority but not locked in on 1st round. I dont see Howie every drafting a safety or LB in the first round..Whoever is the highest graded WR, DE or DT or OG in round 1...snatch him...I hope its Ruggs

We signed 2 deep threat WR the last 2 years and both them gave us nothing...the only deep threat worth a look is Anderson.....the rest are bums
