These are conversations she should've had prior to getting married to someone of another race or culture. They've been together for several years and if the convos are difficult now, you clearly married the wrong person. These are the things that get avoided out of embarrassment but you'll have to address it one day.
What doesn't come out in the wash, comes out in the rinse.

this. I don’t understand being married to a cac and not talking about this shyt. This should literally be the first thing discussed before y’all get close like that.

“I am in an interracial relationship. I am having some of the most difficult and uncomfortable conversations I think I’ve ever had, and vice-versa with my husband. But, at the same time, it’s a beautiful thing, because…I don’t know his life through his eyes. He doesn’t know my life through my eyes. All he can do is try to understand and try to ask the questions, and he wants to understand…but we have to be okay with being uncomfortable so that we can get to a solution.”

So her husband doesn’t know anything on what AA women/men go thru in this country let alone the entire world? He’s that clueless and blind? And they been married for a while? That dude is a retard.

He's not retarded, he's white. Thats her job as his spouse to have enlightened him to black issues. Him not knowing anything means exactly what we already know. That black women getting with white men means its still a white household unlike black men who get with white women because no matter what, thats still a black household because he's the man. The male/female dynamics dont change just because its an interracial relationship.

Its common sense on what AA Women/men go thru in this country/world though. It’s not rocket science. We see it all the time in the news from the racism to the killings. The only thing I get from him not understanding is that he’s close minded and not educated enough to know what people go thru. I don’t think it’s fair to the AA women to say it is a white household between two multi racial partners though.

And its common sense to us but not to some billionaire cac. He's delusional about the world.

Most rich white people hell some middle class and poor whites are disconnected from black issues
They live in a bubble and as long as these protests go on they are forced to have this discussion encroach into that bubble
