I always wonder what the response from women like her and Serena would be when asked the tough questions about their choice to marry white men and likee why they seemingly make no attempts to integrate any black culture into their marriage but assimilate totally to the white culture of the husband? I mean look at this Eve pictureshe couldn't have seen the optics afterwards and thought it was cool to have a black dress and a maid/house servant up-do instead of a refined hair down style with a more colorful dress?

Serena does have black friends, and still participates in black events. And as far as I know, is still close to her black family. I don’t know if Eve is close to her family. But to me, this looks like any normal picture when you marry interracially. It would be like Diddy going to J.Lo’s family event, and being surrounded by Puerto Ricans.

Not defending the optics but her husband is the man at the far end of the table.they also got her sitting in the kids section.
She's at the opposite end, as would be expected as the wife of the host.
They've just angled her chair for the Pic so as to get her in there clearly, and not just the back of her head.
And her chair is probably the same as the others on the sides, if not a bit bigger/ornate.
They've just got it under a seat cover/wrap, which if he moved we'd see his would probably be covered as well.
Its just how you lay a table for formal dining.
