I agree. That was her standout along with “Blow Your Mind”…

But when was the last time you heard “What You Want” or “Love Is Blind”?

Her pulling that was surprising
Love is Blind unfortunately plays in my head all the time. Something about the guitar rift just gets stuck. What you want probably when I was a child. But nonetheless Eve still gets played. Kinda like asking when's the last time you heard "just a lip bit" by 50 cent

8 figures is so slick.

That shyt could have sold for $10M on the dot or for $90M+. Doesn't matter for her because she already married a rich/wealthy man. Probably a good idea though. Unless you have a MJ, Prince, Stevie, Smokey etc., catalog....cashing out will provide more long-term security for your family.

Smokey Robinson gotta have the GOAT catalog. If you combine all the hits he wrote for Motown + his career with the Miracles + his solo music.....you would have to be high 9 figs, almost 10 figs to capture the value. Dude wrote "My Girl" which probably gets you $50M by itself you'd think.

Sources tell MBW that the transaction was an eight-figure deal, in the ballpark of between $25 million and $50 million.

It's not just her own catalog, but songs she's been a part of as well. This includes ruff ryders anthem remix, and others. I'm currently finishing her book and it gives you a new perspective on her life. There is another fukked up story in the book about the Roots as well. After reading roughly 2/3 of the book, I went back and listened to Eve's first 3 albums. She was a dope MC, but those albums weren't hot. Swizz's beats to me weren't that hot then and sound even worse today. His beats sound like when someone buys a beat machine and start posting on youtube without knowing how to use the equipment.

As for the Roots, Eve said she wasn't in the video because she was given a location to show up at and when she got there, no one was there. She also said she didn't get a grammy for it because they left her name off of the credits. Questlove tried to give her his old grammy recently that was broken. Thats just dirty. I don't know why every year or so I keep hearing foul shyt about the Roots and their business practices. wtf.
