Europe shouldn’t have a continental army. There are very short periods where the nations are peaceful but they’ll cannibalize each other soon enough.
i think large scale EU imperialism will be a hard sell for the countries without a colonial history. the french really have the strongest interest in imperial activity in africa and they are already capable of imperial intervention there with their own military.I'm not very knowledgeable on African politics other than when it coincides with other global powers.
This is to my detriment.
However, my radar has been lit up for a minute.

i think the primary goal of this is cause they know trump wont do shyt about russias policy in eastern europe
that would be nice.Bout time for them to step up and stop leaving “democracy” and world policing to the US
Time for the US to pull a Japan, fall back from foreign military involvement and focus on fixing this country.
Europeans with an Army is a scary thing...... shyt they literally the colonizers and the starters of each World war
Also America being the only real army out there has been one of the main reasons for global stability
Regressive as fukk.
The world's got problems that armies ain't gonna fix.
If the US is bullshytting with the "will we help, won't we help", they'll step up themselves. European countries have centuries of experience building up armies on short notice. If they believe Trump if he gets another term isn't an honest actor on mutual defense, they have every incentive to go their own route.Regressive as fukk.
