Im sorry but height does come in to play in soccer. Corner kick, then you get dwight howard to head butt that ball in the net everytime. and again, why would height be a detractor? thats fool talk. in the NBA back in the day people thought big men could do nothing but stand next to the basket. Now you got big men with handles raining threes. Why could that not happen in soccer? big ass feet, more ball control.
The argument isnt whether anyone can play soccer its what attributes are more beneficial for a soccer player and being tall and big (like an NFL athlete or Lebron James) really won't help you unless you're a goalie. I edited my post before you quoted me and ill reiterate what I added being Nate Robinson (small, quick, athletic) is better than being Dwight Howard (big, strong, athletic) in soccer.
this is why I say if soccer was the #1 sport in the US we would dominate every country...imagine if the entire NFL played soccer let alone add in all the NBA players
They wouldnt dust him, add to the fact lebron can bench more and jump hire
Deal with it.
You arent factoring in that teams arent built around one prototype of player. This Barcelona team has a core of super midgets, but they till have guys like Puyol and Pique, and even Busquets who are tall and physically imposing.
Nate may be better at dribbling but he wouldnt be very useful from dead ball situations....whereas Dwight would be a great asset to have in that type of situation. Or a target man Lebron, holding up play as a striker and knocking down long balls. Its all about making use of your body type to fit your style of play. Lebron would have all the physical attributes needed to be a world class striker. There are world class players over 6 feet.

But dude. Lebron is as fast as anybody and jumps higher than anybody. what benefit does nate robinson ever have on lebron?
lets imagine lebron and nate were both soccer greats. Id imagine itd be quite hard to steal the ball from Lebron being that he is a monster species he just needs to use his body to guard the ball. and he'd probably kick that shyt at 150 mph

You wasting your time arguing this with them. Trust me.
