Yup, there's the eskista dance (shoulder shim shim) but there's so many others too depending on the region

The one in OP comes from the Wolayta





Asgegnew Ashko's music is Gamo Gofa (sings in Gamogna) not Wolayta, both Southern but completely different.

He's not wrong tho. Those are the three main countries with artists selling outisde their borders today.

Though he forgot to include South Africa their music scene been on a come up recently too.

Yeah he's Gamo Gofa (says it in the song) but I meant the dance in the video, it looks like Wolayta...or does Gamo have a different version to the dance?

Edit: oh ok I gotcha so Gamo has their own dance (Dorze)
Wolayta and Gamo dance looked similar lol

Minim chiger yelem yenekonjo. Wolyta is a lot of hips and ass shaking while Gamo Gofa is a lot of footwork and shoulders.
