As a half african, it's so weird how a lot of black americans are so confused by africa.
Habesha people are black. They have a different look, however, its liken to the way
portuguese look different than ukranians, or
italians look different than danish, or
greeks look different than russians. Or how in asia, thais look different than koreans, koreans look different than cambodians. Continents have different people, they all fall under the same race, but their regions due to climate, diet, etc, give them a different look. If you look closely, south sudanese people look different than tazanians, ghanians look different than south africans (yep, south africans look different than west africans).
East africans aren't actually mixed, most arabs from surrounding countries got their looks from THEM. East africans have had their look since the beginning, ours changed when we migrated into the thick jungles of the west, originally, we looked like them. But our features evolved to cope with the much harsher conditions away from the nile. we're built tough the way scandanavians are built brolic due to their harsher weather too. .
