They should just get rid of the corner three first and see how that works. the majority of threes come from the corner. That way you're not punishing the elite shooters like Steph, but the big stretch 4's will have to incorporate the post up more. We like seeing Steph and trey pull up from deep. But watching bigs camp out in the corner is boring. I'd rather see them battle in the post.

If you want to see more big oriented post up play, it would be better to bring back illegal defense than moving back the 3 point line imo.

Don’t really understand why nikkas want the game to go backwards or why they want to bring back shot clock draining struggle post ups. Not every big man was Hakeem back then.

People in here talking about take away zones and the three point line, y’all trying to see 1960’s basketball huh? :dead:

A lot of these elite stretch bigs like Embiid, Lopez, Vucevic, Jokic, DMC, Towns, Aldridge are not only good at shooting but they can and do post up as well.

I'm talking about the easy corner three only. Plenty of players just spend the whole game chilling in the corner like

The 3 point should still stay the same distance from the hoop as it is now, just the corner three is moved back to match the arch.
If bigs still want to shoot threes they have to be actual shooters and not just corner specialists.

How is dude standing around waiting for a kick out pass exciting in any way?

Bigs mostly shoot from the top and wings as trailers and P&P guys not really the corners :patrice:

I wouldn’t take corner threes away what purpose would that really serve

It can be exciting I don’t know about you but clutch/timely corner threes are exciting watching guys orchestrate the P&R and hit a shooter in the corner in rhythm is good basketball
