they should've never did that 30 for 30, just made him think ok i see where i fukked up last time...now i know how to fix this.

The only gain from this is if this is successful and thats a big if, he did it alone. If it fails, he has no one to blame but himself..why would anyone foot a 500 million dollar bill solo is beyond me.
I like how BOTH sides (Vince and Ebersol/His son who produced the doc) from the XFL documentary about how epic a failure it was came away thinking

":ohhh: you know, we can make this work this time!"

In Vince's own words - Manziel would be ineligible due to his criminal record.

Also there is literally no way I could see Kaep going to play for a league that is even more wilfully racist than the NFL.

He's gonna have to bet the house on Tebow. Or hope that Roman can play QB.

Oliver Luck said average pay was $75,000 with star players getting more. I take that to mean Vince morals will adjust based on who it is. Just like WWE

If people keep speaking on this and and it gains traction, the roster will look so p*ssy if they don’t atleast try to unionize :dead:

Now Vince has a competitor that starts a year before with CBS. That was his cue to bow out. The only path to success is paying 7 figures for Tebow, Manziel, Kaepernick, Winston (?????) and bidding for NFL draft picks while somehow finding real TV. Mark Cuban would have a better chance sinking this money into a WWE competitor than Vince ever making this successful.

The only bright side is that no big names have volunteered for the AAF yet, but they have a more solid businessplan by securing a solid TV company and cashing out on fantasy football done exclusively through them.

The only way the XFL can swoop in and secure the market is like you said, securing bigger names, find good TV, and offer a better service for things such as fantasy football/gambling, tapping into underrated markets (read:big cities that have an interest in football but don't have football already), and forcing sports networks like ESPN to acknowledge it like they eventually managed to do with the WWE.

shyt is tricky cause WWE has signed so much talent... will be hard getting them all on the same page

You organize a protest and they just book raw headlined by the c string and d string talent :skip:

Problem is he's not going to find "real tv" that would want to broadcast the new XFL. People forget the fact NBC pushed the original XFL hard because they lost the NFL broadcast rights for AFC games to CBS in 1998 and wanted something to try drawing those fans back to the network. In addition to him being well behind the 8 ball with planning, the NFL is pseudo endorsing the AAFL with a) CBS having the broadcast rights and b) former NFL players, coaches, and executives latching on.

Also, none of the NFL's broadcast partners would be in a rush to pay for the rights to broadcast a league with the stench of failure. I don't think people are going to dig beyond CBS, ABC/ESPN, Fox/FS1, NBC for football.

If they did Vince would be worth even more billions now.

It’s questionable if Vince would have put in the work Dana White and the Fertitas did in making UFC into ‘MMA’ something legitimized as sport and promoting its fights like 70s pro wrestling. Now Vince McMahon is a 1970s wrestling promoter but would he have promoted real fights that way.

Vince is gonna throw a bunch of money at Tebow and give him a starting QB spot with a lot of TV coverage. Then he'll book Tebow to lose to Roman's team in the final. Tebow shakes Roman's hand after, "brother, you're the guy now" point to Roman, and boom- you've got another mainstream WWE star. :wow:
