I went to Texas and Ill admit that OU have been the most consistent program for a minute. They haven't really had a down year. They go to a lot of BCS games, but don't perform well. :lolbron:

Please, USC is, was and will be the best team of the BCS era. Let's not forget how the BCS blocked them from the National Championship that year.
what a travesty for them.

usc got the ap national title playing in la vs an at the time 2 loss michigan team. auburn didnt even get a piece of the national title the next year. also usc had exactly one regular season win over a team that finished the season ranked. everybody wanted to see usc/lsu, but usc got a share of the title playing a cake schedule, still losing a game, then beating a two loss team in their hometown. they should be grateful if anything.

I hope you didn't pay to read that bullshyt magazine...
I have a subscription to 2015 thanks to a glitch in an e-mail...

it let me repeatedly get a 1-year subscription for a dollar :troll:

It's not a terrible magazine, really. I read it more than I do Insider articles on ESPN.com

Sure as hell isn't Sports Illustrated, but it's entertaining to read, even if I disagree with them on occasion. I don't put too much stock into their obsession with stats, but that's mostly because they've had some well-written articles that allow me to overlook that.

How is Oklahoma and OSU the best 2 when they have lost the title game the majority of the time and have been flatout destroyed?

OSU = 1-2 in bcs title games

OU = 1-3 in BCS title games

smh

:wow: Let the truth be spoken.

Trouble some of you have is you have forgetful memories. OU has had ONE.....ONE "bad" season since 1999. Who else can say that? And that was the year we lost J. White, Mark Clayton, and nearly all starters on that 04 squad, and then in the first game against TCU, Peterson went down for the year. That was the year Texas went to the national title b/c they ran over us.....but by the end of that season, we were back swaggin in the Holiday Bowl setting up our squad for next season.

Hate all you want, but I'd gladly take the journey to our multiple LOSSES in national title appearances than never having gone at all. As a fan, I'd do it all again, damnit!! :obama:
