Shaq and Barkley going at each other is one of the highlights of the show.
shaq shytting on players right after career games, being awkward with other studio guests, and not knowing what's actually happening in the sport that he's supposed to cover is the problem

people can have all kinds of different kinds of humor. but selling the product and not alienating people live on air? yeah that's hustling backwards. and NBA on TNT is what Chuck, Ernie, and Kenny built. Shaq is a passenger.

shyt - the production team itself is worth FAR more than Shaq :mjlol: but everyone glosses around that part when talking about the show

Look, I've never been a fan of Shaq on ITN but there's no doubt in my mind that Stephen has too much of an ego to fit that crew any better.
if we talking ego, its extremely hard to think of people with bigger ego issues than shaq. shaq can't even give a compliment without it being tied to him first

and im not even a stephen a fan like that either. but when he disagrees with a guy on the set, he almost always does it in a way that lets the other guy prop himself up lol....

and at this point people gotta admit that :unimpressed: has put on far, far more people than he's put down too.

Shaq bringing up rings to Barkley when he has no other argument is literally iconic on that show.

Iconically terrible. Shaq singlehandedly ruined the hall of fame chemistry the original 3 members had

Outside of Shaqtin a Fool, his presence has been completely unneeded. They won Emmys prior to Shaq as well

And as a side note, Chris Webber was 10x better as the 4th member than Shaq ever was

I didn't think they needed a 4th person. I liked Webber on the show as the 4th and he would have been good too. I thought Shaq ruined the chemistry at first but they've adjusted and it's been working for a while now. Shaq plays his role of being the petty/hater/dumbass that Barkley and Kenny play off of.

I don't watch the show regularly except for in clips. Has Monica Mcnutt been back on the show since she embarrassed him?
