Crawford has no self promotion skills and ESPN is giving money to boxing but hasn’t done a good job of promoting anything that isn’t Loma.

Can't have a boxer with little to no personality and expect to be a big draw.

And you're right, ESPN needs to hire people who know boxing to manage it. You really have to pay close attention to the schedule to even know a fight is even airing.

As a former pro boxer and worked with Arum in 70s his model has always been top heavy , churn a couple stars through and just a bunch of mid-tier guys/jobbers. HBO had somewhat of a similar model which ultimately was the end for them.

ESPN is weird....they are showing commercials on tv for this, yet their Youtube and Instagram promotion for this fight is just non existent.

-They didn't upload the first take with bud that they did yesterday on their official youtube channel.

-If you look at their Instagram, there is no post or mention of today's presser or even yesterday's public workout drama.

Yet their UFC coverage on their page is just insane..I don't think they understand it's only Mcgregor who is going to bring in UFC ratings....not black beast and Cormier.

The Jeff Horn fight had waaay more coverage and build up, even though this is probably the tougher match up (compared to Horn).
