Esham my favorite rapper but Anything after that Gotham album has been trash for the most part. Only thing he dropped that was trash during his prime was erotic poetry. He had a good run tho . Too bad I never got to see him at harpos in his prime

Scribble had some good songs on it

His last real classic LP was probably N Of Tha World with TNT. Which started out as an esham solo called Club Evil and somehow became a Natas album with only one Mastamind verse.

DETROIT (Do Every Thing Right Or It's Trouble)
He had joints but That Devil worshiping shyt killed his momentum in the city (Detroit is majority Christian faith). Pairing that with better rappers coming out the city who could actually rap too, doggy was finished around the late 90’s-early 2000’s. After the 2000’s You rarely hear Esham music being played around the hood growing up but he gets respect from all the older local artists for his contributions. These new ninjas probably couldn’t even tell you who Esham is.

Wtf are u talking about the content of his music is what made him popular. Plus it’s deeper than the surface. He’s making political statements. He lost momentum because everyone loses momentum. Times change.

It made him Popular in the 90s but when the 2000s hit, that shock value that he brought was over with. You had better Detroit rappers who would rap about getting money and drug dealing in the streets then on the mainstream. You had the hot boys from cash money records, who all of the younger teens want it to be like. Detroit nikkas didn’t listen to Esham horrorcore shyt, we getting this money music. Detroit has always been a hustle city so the music will reflect that.
