Agreed. It's always cool to hear people over those kind of beats that usually don't do that. Freddie Gibbs rapping over Madlib and Alchemist is a perfect example. Like when Lil B or Nipsey Hussle rapped on 9th Wonder it sounded good.I love real production the thing about the soul council is that the whole group is good .....someone big like ross or maybe jeezy or gucci or nas or jay that sound great over soul and chops should do a album with these guys ......shoot even rich homie quan i want to hear him on this
That's why Big Remo was my favorite on Jamla. I loved that real down south steez on different kinds of beats. I don't want to clog this post with more videos than it already has, but IMO Big Remo always picked/got the best 9th Wonder beats, even before Jamla. When he was in that duo The A.L.L.I.E.S. I thought they also got better 9th beats than anyone else was getting, even Little Brother. From 2005-2012 I thought the best 9th Wonder beats always had Big Remo as a solo artist or in the Allies rapping on them.
