It’s more so Bellator to the UFC. Both coexist in the same space, both have access to the same pool of fighters, in some cases Bellator can offer more money to guys who won’t get the same purse in the UFC, and often Bellator puts on better cards from a competitive standpoint.
The main difference comes in branding. The UFC is quite larger in pop culture as a brand, which means it’s audience is a lot bigger and so is the reach.. we’re at the point where the outside audience associates the sport of MMA with UFC. They don’t know the difference. All cage fighting is UFC to them.
It’s the same thing with WWE and AEW
