Dude I've only been producing for a year and I've just starting sampling.. it's not that serious
Won't vote because I'd be biased...
But honestly, if my life depended on it and I had to answer correctly that truality actually made that beat or not, I'd say NO...
The first 3 to 5 beats the nikka post on the forum all sound the same, bland elevator music... AVERAGE at best... and this is when he's talking all this crazy shyt like he's the best producer ever.... (the time you should be posting your BEST shyt)
Now, all of a sudden in a battle, the nikka actually bring his first dope beat, that don't sound NOTHIN like his other boring ones stylistically wise

Erebus on the other hand, dope beat... PERFECT kicks / snares.... like damn... Beat sound like a story telling track... something where a rapper dig real deep and just spill all his deepest "confessions".... (think meet the parents).... yea, thats the name of the track.... "Confessions"

Good point. I noticed that too, but in the end I still voted for Erebus because I felt he had the better beat anyways.
That beat wasnt made on asr10
that beat was made with an mpc for the samples
and korg ms2000 for the bassline and synth sounds
bassline makes that beat
breakdown part does too but mostly basskine
I wish is still had that piece but a wigga needed rent dough

I got a bunch more tailored for them
now my style has a specific sound to it, its original to my sound

whyd you describe it as ASR-10 Ensoniq beat then? The chops do remind me of ASR 10 beats how you can easily lay like 50 chops across each key.

It's a forum where like minded people come to improve, Showcase and just network. if you get stopped by criticism here, then you won't be able to produce at your best when it really counts. Just keep producing like you always do. First impressions matter, You came off like someone who was cocky and to looked down on the forum, so now this is the backlash of that. People don't know you, they only know the music you put out, and the attitude you portray. It's one thing to play around, but you came off completely serious.
