WATCH: Enzo Amore shoots on WWE locker room, says he had to punch backstage bullies | Wrestling News

Enzo Amore’s concert took place last night in Los Angeles after Monday Night Raw at Whiskey A Go Go. The attention he received on Sunday at Survivor Series did not translate into big ticket sales because we were told that there were less than 50 people at his concert. Another person who was there indicated on Twitter that there were 35 people there.

Towards the end, Amore (who is now going under the name nZo) talked about the stories about him being kicked out of the WWE locker room. He claimed that fans only heard what “they leaked.”

Here is what he said during the final minutes of his concert on Monday night:

“It means the world to me. They took away what I love more than anything in the f**king world and I refuse to let them take my voice. That was the f**king worst part about that is not being able to talk to you guys and not being able to let y’all hear me.”

“But I knew if I waited it out, the good always prevails and I’m up against a giant right now. I’m up against a giant, but I’m the only motherf**ker with the balls to go against that giant and that is a fact. And you heard…you ever heard a story of me getting kicked out of a locker room. That sh*t leaks [and] that’s because I was the only motherf**ker who would stand up to bullies and punch somebody in their f**king mouth and you guys didn’t hear about that! You heard what they leaked but Enzo is a Real1 dawg.”

"So I don’t hit the dirt sheets. I don’t tell people about the fights I gotta get into backstage to get what the f**k I need to get for my family, alright? You keep a small circle and you don’t let squares in it. In my circle is the people you see on the stage. I’ve been living with my best friend since elementary school since I made it and I had the time of my life and it’s because of the fans. You all saved my job more times than you know.”

“Because I had to go out there and fight for every word that came out of my mouth. The way I felt about it is if I go into a wrestling ring and I nearly kill myself and break my body – if you are willing to get knocked out cold and your mother is at home crying her eyes out thinking you’re f**king dead, why don’t you write this sh*t and go say it your f**king self.”

At one point during the concert, he gave a planted fan a stunner and he hit someone with a superkick.

He closed out by plugging his merchandise. You can listen to his closing speech in the clips below.

Holy shyt :laff:

Best thing about that story is that I truly think he believes all that nonsense.

fukk it, Enzo's gonna be famous at SOMETHING no matter what, cause he's a born carny if I've ever seen one.

I mean, hell, 35-50 paid is more than I've seen actual prominent indy rappers do at shows. You think Chingy is doing 50 paid on a regular basis these days? :yeshrug:

PAC did a Q&A on Instagram and revealed that Enzo Amore’s push onto 205 Live was a key reason for his WWE departure. An image was posted to the former Neville’s Instagram story, in which he says that he reponds to “Why did you leave WWE?” with “They killed the king and gave the crown to a wannabe rapper.”

Amore’s push on 205 Live was a contentious point for many fans; some felt it helped liven up the brand, while others believed he didn’t belong on a show that emphasized skill in the ring. PAC walked out of the company in October of last year and Enzo, who was fired in January amidst allegations of sexual assault, said last year that he “made Neville quit.”

His whole act was so corny the whole crowd lost it every time he showed up?

NXT marks turning on enzo when they know his whole promo by heart :mjlol:

People dumb as fukk acting like he wasn't one of the most over acts in the company since his debut.

TSC been delusional, he may have been an a$$hole in real life but to act like he wasn't over is crazy

The crowd were always hot for the chants

What a bunch of shyt this is.

Go back and watch the promo where he mainevented Raw and took a shyt on every member of the cruiserweight division.

Or when he was feuding with Cass and talked about carrying him.

So much memorable shyt.

Do you have ANY idea how many people in that locker room would kill to have that kind of charisma? Apollo Crews would literally push Titus and Dana out of a fukking plane if he could have that kind of presence.

Press dudes was randomly asking Rock about Enzo during media runs.

To say Enzo wasn't very popular is just hating. Again, him and Cass eventually fizzled out for a variety of reasons but Enzo from the day he started to the day he left was able to get strong reactions.

You clowns can talk about Enzo's wrestling but we can't act like he wasn't money on the mic everytime he grabbed one. Period. fukk outta here.

TSC

where if they don't like you they downplay your popularity or positives

if they do like you they overlook your shortcomings and overhype your positives

Enzo is(was) a better “WWE Superstar” (not technical wrestler) than more than 70% of the roster :manny:

He got over as a face and as a heel. He had everyone chanting his shyt right before he insulted them (a la Elias and The Miz...not that he’s on their level at all, but the same interaction from the fans)

On TV he was trusted to keep attention and didn’t disappoint. Homie headlined a Raw as the cruiserweight champ because the powers that be realize “pro wrestling” isn’t always about the stuff that Neville does spectacularly, it’s sometimes (and mostly) about the stuff Enzo does well.

If you don’t like him that was his job. Dude was getting followed by TMZ, had a ton of fans wearing his ugly as merch and chanting his stupid chants. In an industry where you get 10-15 minutes on tv a week, if 5 of those minutes the fans are as “tuned in” as they were with Enzo... you’ve won.

Exactly.

I totally forgot all those "Certified G" shirts all over the place.

fukking athletes were wearing those shyts on social media

images

Don't understand why people hated on him as a performer. In-ring skills aside, he was one of the few characters in modern times that had an aura of "coolness", like in the olden days.

There's way too many cornballs and cornball antics in today's era, which makes it embarrassing to be an open fan

If I was with AEW I'd pick him just as a manager alone. He's cool with rappers and shyt so just for the random people he could get to show up front row I'd do it
