Weidman got exposed here IMO. He's 30 and still new to MMA I don't see how he can get much better than what we saw, but he's fortunate that MW isn't a very strong division outside of a few contenders. Rashad should be foaming at the mouth to drop down, he'd feast at 185 IMO.

He just beat one of the best fighters in the world, I don't see how he got exposed. Weidman looked great tonight, but he looked beatable. I'm not taking anything away from him because he answered a lot of questions in this fight. It will be interesting to see how he does against Jacare, Vitor and even Mousasi/Rockhold.

when Page gets to the UFC he will get an instant title shot

Machida and Weidman have terrible hands, Page will KO becuase he knows to throw accurate counters from angles, and he is way better than silva on the ground

I can definitely buy this. Weidman is billed as an "all american wrestler" but machida stuffed a lot of his takedowns. Weidman also has to cut a lot of weight for that division but an advantage he has is the division is very weak now. I give credit to weidman's camp for following the same blueprint shogun & rampage laid out for machida, pressure him & don't let him get comfortable.

Machida treats the sport like boxing with 12 rounds where you can give rounds away, in the UFC you can't, he did nothing in the first two rounds & weidman was the aggressor.

The biggest problem I see with weidman is, in that divison he will ALWAYS gas quickly & he hits hard but he's very slow. So I could see a guy with fast hands like a vitor or rashad clip him easily.

Weidman is too slow, and no head movement, plus Page's BJJ is lethal

Any type of trained fighter throws a jab or 2 to stop that bullshyt, shyt was lightweight disgusting and even more so because Weidman is supposed to be the future, I don't believe the hype one bit though
