shyt like this is really lame but at the same time I feel like gentrification is a little exaggerated, when I'm in Brooklyn or The Bronx I don't see many white people in traditionally black neighborhoods

You're just used to it breh. I left and came back and was like :damn:

You used to NEVER see white people in the hood. Now they bold as fukk :wow:

Me and wifey are headed back up top this weekend, we'll be seeing the old neighborhood in Bushwick. Every year we go back it's like it gets more and more strange and more and more unrecognizable. Has us walking around with the perpetual :dahell: and :wtf: look on our faces.
I moved out to Jackson Heights in Queens. I found a two bedroom here for 800 (utilities included).

Sure...its spanish and asian as fukk here...but no hipsters and its a quick train ride on the 7 to the city.

I actually used to live in Bushwick. I just got sick of it after a while. This actually feels like a community.

Ok Knuckles...please recommend me a nice city with a multitude of diversity, culture, and not just a population of racist stupid nascar and confederate flag worshipping fat and ugly white people and braindead c00ns and self destructive uncle toms.

Oh yeah...dont even dare mention anywhere in the south.:gag:

For a guy like me...an african west indian breh...this is the best it gets in Amerikkka. This country sucks breh and not everyone is enticed by ugly strip malls and having to drive everywhere.

That you Legacy ? :mjpls:

EDIT: Why you give away a hint that was too obvious i guessed before i saw that ish :martin:

I had to keep it under wraps cause i wasnt trying to have any beefs with people. I actually made this screenname cause i was happy that i opened up a pop-up shop for my clothes in the lower east side and i was just wary that revealing too much about myself under this handle would be bad for business. Now that the pop-up shop has ran it's course i figured i'd just chime in here and there. I took a break mainly because i had to get my shyt together and i wanted to make this pop-up shop happen. Plus it was alot of hard work. Ordering merchandise, promoting the shop, gettin promotional materials created and distributed, maintaing the store front, managing the storefront, doing payroll and keeping a record of expenses for tax purposes...all of that. This account was really never supposed to go past a certain amount of posts seeing as it was only made for entertainment purposes. Once the next moves are made with my business i'm going to be ghost once more.

I took the advice of this forum and just helped myself out by actually making my dreams come true and folllowing them.

Word. Yeah....life is good. Im just in my apartment in queens sitting on my ass...made some good money from the pop-up shop and from my other job. Im happy to see everyone on here is doing well. I just cant believe everything that's happened this month. Its made me happy...people finally appreciating my art. Finally have a new apartment. I'm speaking at a young business owners conference this week...been talking to this chick thats an artist and maybe just maybe things might go somewhere...thats it. Just enjoying life in New York City and contemplating my next moves.

I'm kind of embarassed at some of my old posts on here...lol. I'm in a better place in life now.

That's weird. That's like their go to for low-class white folk because they don't have a default racial slur. I thought that was common knowledge.

Me too.

For context, it was on the topic of black folks using the N-word toward each other and they were all
"what if white people calling themselves 'rednecks' and 'white trash'..." and I was like "LMAO they do that..."

Living in NY seems like such an exhausting hassle. Doesn't even seem worth it. I've visited a few times, and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a long ass line for Dunkin Donuts. I mean, DUNKIN fukkING DONUTS!!!
America runs on Dunkin.

:yeshrug:

Not me though. I drink Cafe Bustelo.
