The Muslims here and on definitely do a shytty job of public relations for their religion. If they're trying to convince people they're religion is peaceful and not primitive and barbaric, they get a F grade. Not all of them. Brokewave is reasonable. Tech is reasonable, but he's not a Muslim. Zero is very intelligent and can be reasonable, but he gets too emotional and defensive at times. Like I said in the other thread:

Things I recall hearing certain Muslim posters defend here and on the old site off the top of my head:

-Killing people for drawing cartoons of Muhammad and others "blasphemous" acts.

-Spreading Islam through violence and force.

-Honor killings.

-Female genital mutilation.

-Forced anal probing of gay men.

-Rape of 9 year old girls.

Now we can add slavery to that list. Nice public relations, guys. You really have softened all of our views of Islam, I'm sure.

I read through most of the threads here, though i rarely comment on the threads related to Islam because it seems like the same thread over and over again. Both sides seem pretty adamant on their stance and at some point the thread takes a turn for the worse and people start trolling/flaming/etc.

Bro, topics of the week get multiple threads made. Go check when the Gaza flotilla situation happened. It was fukk Israel week. Tensions between the west and Islam have been high lately. To us, it warrants exposing what we think are inaccuracies, mythology and dangerous behavior in individuals. It's valid criticism.

Inaccurate because you are blind to see. For example, we had an argument that went about 20 pages where you denied that fresh and salt war mix. You quoted scripture as your only evidence.

I showed you that in places density is there reason both waters don't mix, but most times the two waters DO mix.

So I don't want to hear your fukking revisionist history. When there aren't any criticism of Islam threads here you don't contribute shyt EXCEPT pro-Islam thread.

Don't act like you don't have an agenda.

There is one reasonable Muslim here. I forgot his screen name. Dude actually criticizes his religion. Not Islamic countries and governments, but the actual religion and the people that adhere to it.

My agenda is correcting your falsehood. The Qur'an says their is a barrier between fresh and salt water. You pointed to evidence of brackish water. How does that disprove my point? The brackish water is the barrier that prevents them from taking over one another.

I provided scriptural evidence and you provided scientific evidence that actually backed it up, although you understood not. The only issue there was your lack of understanding.
