It is a mystery
Tory Lanez Stan
Or course TLR is more angry at this dude than the corporation not paying him enough to live.
@Wild self come in here in and look at this shyt.
No, this is a very serious issue that he's bringing attention to.
He got his rent raised with no increase in pay in Seattle. And he asked to work remotely at the same salary in a city with lower COL. People are doing much worse for less.
It doesn't really seem like the corporation in the biggest problem in this story. Their wage may not be the greatest sure, but its not like they lowered his wage or anything like that. The bigger issue that lead to this is his cost of living increasing due to his landlord hoeing him in the middle of a pandemic and not being able to reach anyone else on short notice. The area being too expensive in general is more because a housing crisis that needs MUCH bigger intervention than is happening right now by a place higher up in the chain than his company. The organization was letting him rock in the office lowkey and told him it's tiktok or the job and he chose tiktok He even said "fukk a future job I'm riding this tiktok wave" which is perfectly fine if he can eat off it but its not like he NEEDED to make this decision by any means
These corporate bootlicking c00ns will defend landlords jacking up vast rent increases and stagnant worker salaries.
WFH must be the norm.
The office was apparently empty since everyone was already working from home.
