DJ Quik is performing in Santa Ana tomorrow, shows sold out but I was hoping to see him after he made a surprise appearance at Suga Free's new years show. Terrance Howard & Ludacris characters was "loosely" based on Skinny Pimp...especially Terrance Howard's character...it's obvious to anybody familiar with Skinny's come up...and the other characters like Anthony Anderson (DJ Squeeky) and that skinny white boy (J-Mac) played dudes that played an integral part in the beginning stages of Skinny's career...DJ Squeeky (and DJ Zirk) were the 1st dudes to take Skinny off the hoe track and put him in the studio...that white boy who was the engineer for Anthony Anderson's character played the same role as J-Mac (a funny lookin lil whiteboy) did to DJ Squeeky... as his engineer.
