Yea he was

Only watched the first season but his character was the “central” protagonist but he wasn’t important enough that his leaving would bury the show. Its essentially a soap opera, hell you could replace him with another light skinned Gay dude and wouldn’t miss a beat.

If this dude’s fukkery gets the show cancelled it will be the final nail in the coffin for his career

Uh I've seen a few empire EPS. He's definitely integral but it's not like he Terrance Howard. Kill him off and use it as a plot device. Keep it moving.

I've never seen this show, but it's crazy to think a side character could potentially destroy the entire show.

I mean even house of cards did a final season after Kevin Spacey metoo'd then to Bolivia.
