Eminem was really flowing his ass off on Relapse

This album was trash the day he dropped it and trash 7 years later. Excellent concept, some of the worst execution in music history. The production carried the album, yet even that wasn't very good. This is a bottom rung Em album and people need to get over it.

Ain't nothing to get over, obviously there were people that fukked with the album heavy even if you didn't.

If you thought it was wack fair enough but on one hand you say the beats weren't good but the album was carried by the production?



Nah, Em was spitting, even non-eminem fans will tell you that and it's easily his best produced album overall.

Certainly not his creative peak but I'm throwing on Relapse before I play any of his old shyt.

Sure, he was "flowing" on this album, but he was also screaming, yelling, and using accents, over a bunch of beats that simply weren't good. The only thing cool about this album was the videos to the tracks, cause the tracks themselves stunk. Just another notch on Eminem's fledgling catalog post-2003.

Em definitely was spitting. But if the delivery sounds like shyt, who cares? This is funny, for a site that hates "rappity rap", O find it ironic that people are trying to give one of the worst albums of that type of style a pass. But some face paint on here and this is just a slightly better Juggalo album.

I disagree. The delivery and the "accents" gave the shyt character.


That was bad delivery? He wouldn't have been able to twist it like he did without the inflections.

It's funny because at the time he got flak for the inflections only for some of those same people to turn around to dikkride Danny Brown and Kendrick for doing some of the same shyt.
