The point Em was making was that they only win in the Rap category and nothing else.

And if history shows, Em hasn’t showed up to the Grammys in a long time. The last time he won a Grammy was for MMLP2 for Best Rap album and he got a Grammy for “The Monster” with Rihanna but he didn’t show up. But it was all in the “Rap” category and not the Big awards.

So he has a point there...

But y’all gonna miss it...sooo
Nah the point is he still taking his awards home even if he ain’t here
Dude knows his albums were trash, still won awards, but wasn’t satisfied because he wasn’t winning album of the year over other acts or t hat hip hop artists weren’t winning them either

Yet he’s cool beating other better hip hop albums with mediocre albums but the ones he isn’t winning either are the bullshyt ones. If those judges think mmlp2 is the best hip hop project and em knows it wasn’t that good why isn’t he speaking up and endorsing the better hip hop projects during the Grammy seasons since his voice holds so much weight

His opinion is valued but not of the same as artists that aren’t black, no
I’d rather hear j Cole opinion then eminem opinion on this subject matter because if I’m not mistaking Cole has put our better bodies of work since 2010 and yet eminem has beaten Cole out and despite a shout out on his last album I cant think of an indication where em has shared the sentiment that Cole made better bodies of work or should have been nominated outside of the hip hop catagory

So if his opinion isn't valued then why do you want to hear it so badly?

I said it’s valued but it doesn’t hold weight or merit because at the end of the day it’s to his benefit clearly
(Wins best hip hop for mediocre album over way better music by black artist)
“Why are we stuck in these categories?”
(Doesn’t win at all)
“fukk those awards”

funny that he's talking this 'grammy darlings' shyt, not realizing that he is the definition of GRAMMY DARLING himself.
:snoop:mmlp2 actually won a fukking grammy for rap album of the year.

You really are spending a lot of time in a thread getting emotional, doing extensive research, pulling up interview quotes and verses to talk about a song you don't like.

It's a dumb, lazy ass song but still proof that Em has superior skills even when he's uninspired. Agree to disagree I guess

A lotta people expose themselves in Em threads. I couldn't fathom having so much time, energy, or interest in discussing/arguing an artist I think is trash or don't listen to :mindblown:

So how is it valued if it holds no weight or merit to you?
