I don't know if it would've been on the level as Eminem Show, that album was hard to top. Even the 8 Mile Soundtrack was better than Encore.

I agree. I didn't think the album had a chance of being as good as The Eminem Show. Some of the best songs Eminem's ever recorded are on that album. There are individual verses on there that Encore can't compete with.

relapse is when i stopped fukkin with Eminem

that voice was wack and so was the album

He was rappin on that album but the content is terrible. Those beats were all wasted cause of it. There's few songs I can go back to, and they don't have the crazy content like Déjà Vu and Careful What You Wish For.

Encore >>>> Relapse. Not by much and that doesn't make Encore good, but Relapse featured a lot of the shyt that make Em songs a chore to listen to now.

The beats on Relapse were good, but people go overboard with it. They just happened to sound like The Chronic compared to the crap Dre did on Encore. Another thing lost on Relapse to people is that most of the hooks were terrible. Nothing really caught on and not to say he was ever amazing at hooks, but he had hooks that stuck in your head. He lost whatever ability he had on that front.

You know how some of y'all can't stand UK rappers because the accent drives you nuts, regardless of whether they're spittin heat or not? That was Relapse.

How does he make a mocking bird and then make a big weenie. Too many yes men.

The same way he makes a album dissing Donald Trump with Skylar Grey X Ambassadors & Ed Sheeran as guest features. his camp is full of yes men. Look at all the people dissing Joe Budden right now. I'm surprised Slaughterhouse ain't turnt their backs on him yet.

Encore is Em's weakest album to me and I actually liked the silly ass tracks (Big Weenie, Rain Man, Puke) along with the better tracks (Mockingbird, Yellow Brick Road, Mosh) because even as nonsensical as they were he was still spitting wild shyt despite the content. I can look past it just to appreciate the skill but to hear him put it over Relapse is surprising, especially if you factor in Refill which I always have.

Hello
Same Song and Dance
Stay Wide Awake
De Ja Vu
Underground
Buffalo Bill
Elevator
Music Box (easily one of my favorite Em songs)
Careful What You Wish For
My Darling, which I have no idea why it didn't make the 1st album because it was obviously cut to be a less in to 3AM

Accents aside, dude had some good cuts on there and wouldve been even better if he replaced shyt that didnt seem to belong on the album like We Made You, Old Times Sake and Crack a Bottle with the tracks above.

I fukk with kamikaze but this interview shows ems ear for good rap music is totally shot. And I don't mean good rap music as in drake, future, migos and 2018 mainstream rap but just the lyrical, dope flows, underground rap Em is supposed to be nice at. Dude pretty much said he still thinks revival is dope deep down. Said people hated the track list and prejudged it and said it sucked because they didn't wanna be wrong :camby:

Encore is better then relapse :camby:

Also people need to dead the argument that fans want "shady" back. I don't want that shyt. I just want Em to rap in his regular voice like he did for idk about ten seconds at the beginning of his verse on the track with Joyner and if there's a style I wish Em would go back to its be 8 mile soundtrack Em not shady or MMLP. That song Love Me with Obie and 50, Em didn't have a fast flow or a bunch of lil Wayne type punch lines but he still killed it because his flow was effortless and smooth and he wasn't screaming and yelling.

I mean Kamikaze was dope as fukk to me but Em pretty much said his ear for music is shot and he's constantly judging from the publics reaction aka the internets reaction so that doesn't bode well for future projects
