Em should’ve made more music with his influences instead of going pop. Might’ve been taken more serious.

Taken more serious by whom? What a clownish thing to say. The guy is the best selling rapper of all time. Period. Everybody who is anybody that means something in hiphop has always shown respect and admiration for Eminem. Every. Single. Legend.

So again, taken serious by whom?

By fans. Not everyone likes the music he makes. You don’t see the criticism he gets for making music with Skylar Grey all the time?

To repeat. The guy is the best. selling. rapper. of. all. time. Not sure why you’re not understanding that. Who cares who doesn’t like his music. The reality is he is going to selling platinum almost every. single. time.

yep.. Eminem has more respect for the culture and history of hip hop than 95% of black rappers :mjpls:

He's of a certain age. People in his age bracket e.g Nas, Fat Joe, Nore cite people they listened to which is now seen as the classic age of hip hop.

They came up when the cultural aspect was strong with the breakdancing, graffiti etc

Who cares what he sold, it’s because he made mainstream rap music that the obvious white fanbase eat up. He didn’t make pure hip hop records with DJ Premier or Havoc or Public Enemy. He made shock value rap. Dissing pop stars and he basically made music with them afterwards. He contracted himself. And you’re mentioning sales like it matters :mjlol: :snoop:
