Duncan Hines monument cakes
Hopefully he's redeeming himself from Recovery.
Eminem is known to mix things up every now and then by sampling and working with lesser-known artists, and it seems like he might be sampling up-and-coming UK artist Jamie N Commons on the first single from his 8th solo album.
According to The Sun, “It’s scheduled to be Eminem’s big single this summer when he headlines the Reading and Leeds festivals in the UK.”
Much like his infamous 2000 track “Stan," on which he sampled Dido’s “Thank You," helping her to explode in the US, Eminem will probably open doors for Jamie as well. “Jamie already has a good buzz around him in the music industry but now Eminem’s endorsement of him is a huge deal," a source told the paper. The Blues singer is signed to the label of Alex da Kid, longtime Em collaborator.
Other collaborators on Eminem's upcoming album will likely include No I.D., who told MTV News back in September that they were hoping to cook up something special. "I definitely sat down and spoke with Eminem about working and we agreed to get in the studio and see what we could do," he revealed.
He needs to call it Retirement...
RedEMtion, get it. The EM, in redemption. What a play on words.
Struggle puns.
