Alirght I can see what you're saying if it's from the standpoint of what you liked more, but do you at least agree that TES objectively is miles ahead of Relapse, I mean there is a reason it's claimed one of the goat albums. I didn't mind Relapse either and I find it 100x better than Recovery, but really this nikka was just showing off his skills throughout the album and nothing else, kind of like rhyming for the fukk of it and showing people how damn good he is at it. TES is raw as fukk.

Yes exactly and yeah I understand why some people disagree with my opinion. TES is diamond for a reason. I just liked the other more. I wasn't taking anything away from it, just my preference

It pisses me off that the bonus tracks are better than a lot of the album. This could have been a solid album front to back. Not saying it would be amazing or anything, but it would be better.

8. Berzerk (don't like this song but his singles are always the worst tracks, so w/e)

I like Wicked Ways too, but it's just the odd track out and I don't think it fits the overall sound quite as good as the other bonus tracks, his flow sounds more Hell The Sequel like.

Maybe not the perfect order, but that shyt would've been so much better and with no awful tracks imo (aside from Berzerk). And those bonus tracks would have fit the overall sound of the album much better than songs like Survival, @sshole, and Stronger Than I Was.

the way albums are packaged today, that basically IS the album. it will play out differently to people, but ultimately they released it as a double disc so those songs are on the album..even down to the Ken Kaniff outro..it was done tactfully...

i dont agree with the sequencing but fukk it. glad we got all these songs in the same package and not in the form of a different side project like Relapse: Refill.

Looking back at the Recovery tracklist and remembering the songs, the way I looked at it I liked like 9/17. Stuff like Seduction, the one with Pink, Not Afraid, Spacebound, etc were mad wack.

The thing with Relapse is the bad songs were bad and what made it worse was the accents but the tracks where he want hard he went real hard (i.e. Stay Wide Awake, Same Song and Dance, Deja Vu, Beautiful, Hello, Insane)


As far as this album goes I don't like

Berzerk - don't hate it guess heard it too much
Rap God
The one with Kendrick - he messed up a good collabo on this crap
Headlights - I mean it's a good concept but in my opinion executed bad

I'll check it out again. Might be 1 more I don't like. Haven't heard the deluxe yet. Rappers need to make up their mind up with the issue of deluxe. IS the real album what is released or the deluxe? Either put them all on it or just what's the original lol.

Anyone know why Dre didn't produce anything on this?

im not arguing that he cant hold his own, but he's a rather pedestrian MC next to Em from a technical standpoint. i'd rather hear Buck on a joint with Nas than on a joint with Em. Em's strength is punchlines and shock value.. Buck's is more his style/delivery/melodies and i know Em's fans are ready to delete him from the song before it even materializes.
