It's probably not Em's decision.
True. It does shine light on Juice tho. R.i.p
It's probably not Em's decision.
Burning question!
Did Eminem record this collab with Juiceworld before Juice died?
Or did Em get his vocals shortly after and record it after Juice died?
The song was recorded before Juice died. I think Juice did the hook months beforehand. There's a theory going around that Juice was supposed to have a verse on it but died before he recorded it, so that's why Eminem had the extended verse at the end.
That's the thing tho. Was it for another song? Was it specifically for Em? Or did Em/Interscope get it from the Masters?
I guess no one really knows. Were there photos of them together?
He recorded it specifically for Eminem. It wasn't one of those songs where the producer just sent the beat with the hook already there and the rapper just had to fill in the rest of the song with his verses. The collaboration was probably Eminem's idea since Juice was a big Eminem fan.
There are no pictures of them together, but this picture was taken the night Juice recorded the hook:
Em blowing Interscope's budget for high effect videos
Good. We need movie looking videos that stopped around 2005.
Really no big deal for me I’m just surprised labels blowing money for polished up music videos. Guess it’s the luxury of being on a major.
Me too. It's cool to see here and there tho.
I feel for a while rap videos even looked low budget. Including Busta's.
Busta set a very high standard for himself.
But I feel we can all give a pass if his vids aren't multi Ms anymore. He did it when he could.
I hope they cleared it. Toho made Disney/Pixar lean back once because they were gonna use his roar in Monster's Inc.
