im not a progressive or liberal, i think center right is the best description of my views, my post was sarcastic obviously but also insulting toward "progressive values"
i have never said anything about dems not taking us seriously, i said the opposite, i said that black people shouldnt care wether dems or rep take us seriously or whether they care about our problems or whether they are racist or not, our voting should be based on strict goal of gaining political power just for the sake of having political power, not to make the world a better place or to solve black problems, our goal is power for the sake of power IMO
thirdly, the whole notion of politics being the key to black progress is a progressive bamboozlement in and of itself, economics comes first, politics is second, black people will not have any real poltical power until we get our economics straight, black people should stop listening to white liberals telling them that poltics is key and we are doomed if such and such goes into office
in fact my original, off the top, serious response when i read this thread title is fuk this meeting, its another misguidance of black people to focus on politics, black people need to have a discussion on credit scores, real estate, small business, stocks and bonds, domestics and international trade etc etc
They had bernie fukking sanders running in the primaries and they still managed to fukk that up
