I love how we're conducting a bunch of ad hominem attacks to distract from the fact that we just had to suffer through two of the most brain dead, intelligence insulting finishes I've seen in a long time to put the belt on Sasha...for fukking what?

Listen, Sasha should've had a long reign with the women's title a long time ago. But what does this actually accomplish if they're building to a Bayley/Sasha match in the near future? Why not do what a bunch of people suggested after Extreme Rules, and write a storyline where Bayley's interference was actually meant to PREVENT Sasha from winning the title because she's jealous and wants to stay out of her "friend's" shadow? What does Sasha winning the belt accomplish now when they're probably going to take the belt off of her within 3 weeks (God help us all if it's longer than that)?

All everyone is doing in this thread is using the most threadbare arguments to justify the insane booking of this storyline (sidenote: Why the fukk would you take the belt off Asuka when she just got it, especially after how she received the belt in the first place?) and the further devaluation of double title reigns. You know, that accomplishment that used to be pretty rare and now is thrown around like rice at a wedding, only it's somehow treated with less value.

Can ANYONE...ANYONE give me a good reason why the WWE should tie up every single women's belt they have in ONE (ONE!!!!!) act whose immediate future is a program against each other (meaning that they're probably not putting anyone over anytime soon, not that WWE can book in a manner that would actually get anyone over). Go ahead, I'll wait, because there is no good reason. And that's not even getting to the nonsensical bullshyt of having two women's double champions, but having Keith Lee vacate one of his two titles like a week after winning them (just to pop a rating...a rating lower than an AEW main event two weeks later that began with the heel team cutting meat and washing their hands before they fought, as well as a superkick ride up an escalator).

I like Sasha a hell of a lot more than I like Ember Moon, but this booking is fukking indefensible. This fukking forum kills me sometimes. :snoop:

Ok but what if the endgame was never a Sasha vs Bayley feud and nothing ever comes of the little teases just like nothing ever came of their literal fist fights years ago :skip: You saying all this like it's a guarantee they're going to feud with one another.

Naomi winning the title from Bayley at Summerslam :ahh:

Could be good if they built it right (I don't trust WWE with anything Sasha or Naomi related for obvious reasons, though). :yeshrug:

I just want to see some good booking, dude. And this ain't it, in my eyes.

I hate double title holders for the most part. I think only TNA got it right when Kurt Angle and Bobby Lashley both did it. When Seth did it years ago, it was alright. When Keith did it, I hated it, eventhough I love Keith, because they hot-shotEd the world title over to him instead of doing a build towards it. Kross should have cost him to lose the NA title to build more heat for their World title match.

In Sasha and Bayley’s case it’s a different story. I like their current run. They are the most entertaining thing, most weeks, in the ‘E. The story has been building for months. It also doesn’t help that Raw and Smackdown’s women division booking has been absolute shyt since the pandemic began. Makes sense. I also love that that they are talking about going to NXT to take that title too. It’s a dope storyline. They just need to make sure they don’t run it into the ground. But you know with the ‘E, this storyline will be going until Wrestlemania next year :snoop:
Them making Seth a double champion was dumb af. A midcarder who WWE was planning on pushing should've been the one to end Cena's United States Chnapionship run, not Seth (or Del Rio for that matter).

I'm pretty sure Ember is staying in character. Last time I check she was a face so of course she would be against the top heels of the division having all the belts especially Bayley since they had history.

In character? Girl has a potentially career ending injury, has been out for a long time with this injury, and she doesn’t know when or if she’ll ever be back in the ring. What exactly is the endgame of this comment if this is “in character”? :gucci:

Nothing like typing out 5 paragraphs to unknowingly expose the hell out yourself :laff::laff::laff::laff::laff:
I'm saying, Sasha and Bayley have people mad for real like wrestlers used to back in the day.

She ain't in character, because Ember c00n didn't have shyt to say when Alexa, Becky, & Charles were dominating the women's division. Now that the true stars of the horsewomen are being booked like they should've been people have a problem with it.

Heyman booked Asuka with the belt and Vince doesn’t think she can speak well enough to rep the company. So get mad at him. Also think stupid. There is no crowd . So why have descent when there are no fans there and they not traveling ? They are saving the split till Survivor series or the Rumble . You do notice most of the roster is gone because of COVID right?

Others . Do why shouldn’t they have a long reign. It’s something different instead of the same old I’m jealous of you because you are getting titles . How the fukk would that even work without a crowd reaction??
Asuka is fantastic but would you want the face of the division to be her or Banks?
