Cancer. He was supposed to be ringside about 3 weeks ago with the HBO crew and I think either Greg Papa or Jim Lampley said he was sick with cancer.

Apart from Wlad didnt rate his trainin in the later half of the 00's. Felt he fukked over Jermaine Taylor big time and changed him as a fighter for the worse, especially after comin off the 2 B Hop wins with his old trainer, you go from that too just barely beatin Corey Spinks but even after that i still wanted him to train Paul Williams and teach him how to use his size and reach and make his jab proper to it full potential like he should of done. Oh and teach Khan to use his fukkin jab proper aswell

My 3 best memories of him are

What he did with Lewis and re-taugh him how to use his size and jab more effectively

And the look on his face in the Prince Hamed documentary for the MAB fight about how much of a Rocky 3 clusterfukk the trainin was, when he was brought in to advise. It basically said you wastin my motherfukkin with this shyt.

Wladimir's statement to the passing away of Emanuel Steward:

Boxing has suffered a tremendous loss with the passing of Emanuel Steward.

Vitali and I, along with the entire Team Klitschko, send our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Emanuel's family and friends.

It is not often that a person in any line of work gets a chance to work with a legend, well I was privileged enough to work with one for almost a decade.

I will miss our time together. The long talks about boxing, the world, and life itself. Most of all I will miss our friendship.

My team and I will carry on with the goals we had set while Emanuel was with us because that is exactly what Emanuel would have wanted. I know he will be with us in spirit along the way and we will accomplish these goals in his honor.

Rest in peace Emanuel. You will be greatly missed.
