The explanation makes no sense. Anyone who has ever used e-mail knows that's not how BCC works. First, it's pretty hard to accidentally blind carbon copy someone, and even if someone is bcc'ed on one e-mail, they do not get any of the subsequent reply e-mails in the thread. So Jeannie would have had to proactively forward the subsequent e-mails she got from Rob to Magic (hard to do unintentionally) or Magic had to have actually been accidentally CC'ed (not BCC'ed) all along (which I actually wouldn't put past these clowns)...
