It's amazing that people still believe this Elvis stole music shyt but every black performer who actually knew him respected him and wished him the best

Yeah he had that Eminem thing going on. He got popular doing black music but what really catapulted him was that white teenage girls was crazy for him.

wait—why in the elvis movie did they make him and his wife appear to be the same age when he met her?

I just read she was around 14 when they met…I heard the rumors but never really knew much about elvis so I never really looked into it…then recently after watching the film, I heard it mentioned again…just looked it up and seen it was true

I guess my question is rhetorical since it’s obvious why they skirted over it…but I watched that scene not realizing he was 24 and she was 14 in real life…the movie blatantly makes it seem like they were close in age if not the same age
