I recognize it is a valuable resource for information regarding serious topics but its also very toxic and a vehicle for propaganda and political agendas/social engineering to thrive. The only real competition to Twitter is threads and the only thing stopping it from totally crushing Twitter is the fact that thread posts aren't viewable by the public. If they were, they can go viral like tweets can.
