I am sick of these free speech absolutists. For someone who'd I'd assume would have more insight into humanity as a whole, Elon is a very silly minded individual. Humanity doesn't have the moral nor cognitive development for what Elon wants.

We've already seen a glimpse of what unlimited free speech can do to human society. It brought us Donald Trump, incels, COVID 19 conspiracies, Q-Anon, continued climate change denial, continued Republican/Far-Right information silos etc. All the worse elements of human toxicity is magnified and leads to terrible outcomes by these social media platforms.

At some point I'd like to see platforms that have absolute free speech but it simply doesn't mesh well with a society that is vastly uneducated and lacks basic critical thinking skills. Plus it almost always leads to exploitation by the far right and racists.
