It is at times like these that I find myself wishing for a giant sinkhole, or maybe even an ultra-localised meteor shower, to appear.
Sadly, I am still waiting.
Twitter is the Sinkhole. Musk just doesn't know it yet.

I got a bottle of 2012 Penfolds Grange that I've been waiting to open this year. Maybe I'll save it a little longer for when he's finally drowned by hubris & debt - a moment worth savouring and celebrating.Twitter is the Sinkhole. Musk just doesn't know it yet.

I mean, he might. He tried like hell to get out of the deal once he realized it was a giant mistake. He has enough hubris to think he can somehow flip it for a W but I think he's still pretty shook.
Considering I'd be very happy if this whole thing brings both Musk and Twitter down, if he really does turn it around somehow I'm gonna be
Yeah he thinks cutting staff will fix the issue because Wallstreet loves layoffs. But thats a “tread water” play. You cant make major changes with far less staff.I just don't see any route to make Twitter profitable, when your going private, unless putting up a Subscription Plan. I bet he will fire the staff and try to offshore it to China. Sure your saving money, but your not making money. If Musk went all in with his money, this wouldn't be a problem, but he has investors to pay off as well; not the people who own Twitter, but gave him money to buy Twitter.
It'll be a few million dollars fine and a slap on the wrist. DOJ rarely touches corporations.Take over Twitter and get investigated on ya main company
