ok, so, this story happened in massachusetts about a month ago. this woman strangled all three of her children to death and, according to reports, attempted suicide by jumping from the second floor window of her single family home. she’s a young white woman married to a white man in a relatively upper middle class neighborhood. she’s a nurse at boston’s biggest and most prestigous hospital, and her husband is an engineer employed by microsoft.

the coverage of this, from the outset, has been framed to generate sumpathy for her. almost every story has an emphasis on post-partum depression and her mental state. reading these pieces, you’d think she was the victim, not the three young children around whose necks she wrapped an exercise band and strangled to death.

but, professor black truth, whose work i absolutely love (imo, he’s, by a WIDE margin, the best black youtube personality among the new black media. no one touches his knowledge, intelligence, and cadence. i think he has to work for the media in some capacity) failed to touch upon the STARK contrast in how this story has been covered and the coverage of a similar case several years ago that involved a black mother who stabbed her two sons to death.

I also think the last 5-10 years of "cancel culture is destroying society" and "woke culture is destroying society" stuff has been a careful attempt to pave a lane for mainstreaming white supremacy. If no one should be cancelled, if all opinions are valid, if words don't matter, if being offended is being weak...why wouldn't you invite a Nazi to your show to discuss his views? Why wouldn't you give a white supremist an equal platform to say whatever?

Notice the way Fridman, the host, has to almost hide a smirk as he asks questions on this. It's as if he knows he is getting away with something. It's also clear he tries multiple times to get the scientist to straight up say "blacks are dumber than whites, yes." There's no real evidence of genetic differences in race to this day, yet a certain group of people (guess who) hasn't stopped talking about it for decades. I think it's clear this is the next step in the war on equality. If we aren't equal then why should there be equal opportunity? Why spend more on schools if the data says the quality of your school and teachers doesn't matter as much as other things (family situation, environment, etc)? You can see where I'm going with this.
