12 years of fighting this guy and his crowd went for nothing except people yelling at them louder.
Even the Democrats left outside of sone like AOC have basically said “I’m done with this”.
In my view they want to make government ineffective to justify dismantling many of its core services and then magically having their own private companies take over administering those services. It's one of the reasons republicans have always pushed for small government and complained about how obtrusive it is in everyday americans' lives. It most certainly explaines the freezing of funds, the mass firings and scapegoating of dei whilst filling the cabinet with billionaires who will have control over agencies that regulate industries they are invested in.

Were quickly approaching a situation where a political solution will not fix this.
Action will need to be taken at some point. Given how many people are about to have the lives ruined and upended by their actions, someone with nothing to lose is going to crash out.
