Y'all kill me with these apologies that you give for nonequivalence. I mean, yeah, the alt right is more radical than the left. Ya think??

The alt right tried to KILL people, my nikka, one of those people being the Vice President of the United States, and another one of those people being the Governor of Michigan.

:laff:

These both sides nutjobs got men scared to be men, and call it like they see it. And when you do, you say it almost apologetically. Wow :laff:
You missed the point of what I said breh. No one is being apologetic and no one is disagreeing with you. What I was saying is that the alt right is a small section of the Republican Party just like the extreme leftists are a small section of the Democratic Party but if you get all your news from tv/social media than you would think both parties are radical

For people who are really ignorant on politics:

Eisenhower started one of the largest all-time government works projects, the Interstate Highway System
Eisenhower expanded social security
Eisenhower raised the minimum wage
Eisenhower founded NASA
Eisenhower created the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare
Eisenhower signed the first Civil Rights bill
Eisenhower supported federal funding for more low-income housing
Eisenhower nominated liberals Earl Warren and William Brennan to the Supreme Court along with a couple of moderates
Eisenhower made a famous speech warning of the dangers of the military-industrial complex

Nixon founded the Environmental Protection Agency
Nixon started SSI
Nixon founded OSHA
Nixon signed the Clean Water Act
Nixon signed the Endangered Species Act
Nixon was the first president to implement Affirmative Action
Nixon opened up US relations with Communist China
Nixon instituted wage and price controls to fight inflation
Nixon nominated moderate/liberal Harry Blackmun and moderate Lewis Powell to the Supreme Court

Reagan gave amnesty to 3 million illegal immigrants
Reagan raised taxes 4 times after having lowered them too much
Reagan never fought hard on abortion and was originally pro-abortion before shifting to the right
Reagan was originally pro-gun control
Reagan regularly compromised with Democrats
Reagan nominated moderates Sandra Day O'Connor and Anthony Kennedy to the Supreme Court

H.W. Bush raised taxes again
H.W. Bush pushed for international treaties and multilateralism
H.W. Bush picked Colin Powell and Robert Gates as major advisors
H.W. Bush nominated liberal David Souter to the Supreme Court

W. Bush preached "compassionate conservatism"
W. Bush expanded Medicare
W. Bush devoted huge funding to fight AIDS in Africa
W. Bush tried to legalize millions of immigrants and was only blocked by his party hardliners
W. Bush nominated center-right John Roberts to the Supreme Court

Damn near none of that shyt would be acceptable to Trump Republicans. The party is FAR more right than their presidents of the 1950s-2000s. Even John McCain and Mitt Romney were more liberal than today's Republicans. The Republican party has been moving steadily further to the right for over 60 years and it keeps getting worse and worse.

agents on here stay trying to gaslight people about both sides and false rhetoric about the "far-left"... theres only right-wingers and neoliberals in power.

He’s saying that his positions haven’t changed since 2008. The image supposedly demonstrates how the left has gone so left, his views, which haven’t shifted, are now considered right.
This most of the coli too stupid to get it...

And they do kill people, they are just underreported (news) or at least not taken as seriously as they should be:

How would you describe the GOP? Or the last president?

Literally no one was "too stupid to get it". We're criticizing how stupid his claim was and how it clearly shows he's been right-wing this whole time (which was known if you were paying attention, from his support for Republicans to his Covid disinformation to his love of corporate welfare but hatred of corporate taxes to his selective bullshyt about "free speech" to to the racist shyt that was pervasive at his company). Anyone who claims the right hasn't moved in the last 15 years was clearly on the right from the beginning, especially on race shyt. You're a full step behind still in the conversation.

Total BS. The very heart of the alt-right like Steve Bannon and Steven Miller were literally running Trump's campaign and sitting in the White House writing out Trump's policies. Trump loves the fukking alt-right. Whereas every single Democratic primary is the DNC plotting, "How will we continue to ensure that the left has no control in our party whatsoever?"

Name a 2024 Republican presidential candidate with a chance in hell of winning the nomination whose views differ substantially from the alt-right.
