This is exactly why I say Republicans will roll with Elon over Trump.

Trump had the clout.

However, Elon controls one of two platforms to have clout. You either want a following on TikTok or Twitter. However, those who blow up on TikTok have a different feel for culture than Twitter so they can exist independently. Not a lot of Republicans have the charisma to get up on TikTok, so they desperately need Twitter to stay socially relevant.

If they piss off Ekon they got to move to Truth Social and that’s basically a death blow to their “marketability”.

All these old MAGA heads are going to have to come around to Elon to stay relevant.
