Drake will do an interview with Joe when he’s ready to pivot in his career on the tail end. MAYBE akademiks. I could see Drake even talking with Lupe.
It’s a better chance of him talking to you than any of them :heh: even with all the ass kissing Joe has done

He’ll do more “Comedians Getting Coffee” type of interviews before he sits down and does a podcast with guys who dissed him for fame. It’s nothing different or exciting about sitting in a room staring at Joe Budden and Akademiks. It does nothing for his profile.

I’m about to go pitch “Rappers Eating Ravioli” now that I think about it :ehh:

They don’t and the fact Joe tries to put himself in the same category as Drake in anything is a main reason why Drake will never sit down with him.

The “Joe influencing Drake early in his career” is a podcast interview coupon that has long expired

I don't think Drake would do anything with Joe. He responds to him on social media here or there but ultimately Drake doesn't forget slights. He's not letting someone who dissed him get close to him for anything IMO. I agree Joe asks better questions than many but it's still...Joe Budden.

Cam and Mase would get a Drake interview before that bald bisexual Joe Budden

mad at Drake for doing a comedy thing... shut aaap man. you're boring.
that giggling dikksucker Elliott got a nerve. he got his Jay interview then actually got one from Drake when he actually had shyt to talk about

Cole does nothing (actually, hes got a Kevin Hart interview coming out)
Kendrick when he was with Top Dog wasn't even allowed to have interviews post Ferguson and copped out and "wrote" his own piece for his XXL instead of an interview.

no superstars like doing standard interviews anymore because of the clickbait headlines and videos that come from it
and if they do, theyre going for the Interview Magazine style were they get somebody they know to do the interview

If the 2014 cop killings hadn’t happened IDK where Kendrick’s career would be. Dude was the BLM mascot for so long and we don’t know where all that righteous energy would be displaced creatively. He’s a completely different artist after that.

Not to mention fast moving social media aggregator accounts are documenting every move these celebs make i.e. Shade room

Drake already committed to sitting down with Joe.

Cant remember the last time I enjoyed or learned anything new from a "hip-hop journalist" interviewing an active artist. The questions usually revolve around
"Tell us about the process of making the album?"
"Talk to us about reception of your last album?"
"Who do you want to work with on this album?"

This shyt is all very surface level and begging to get dumb ass cliche answers. I'd rather see anyone being interviewed show their personality instead of just getting through the answers that wont cause them to be looked at negatively. So drake knows what questions they'll be asking and I imagine that shyt is boring. Dont blame him or any other artist who want to do an interview/podcast where they get to have fun and be themselves instead of need to sell whatever image hip hop has determined they should act like 24/7
Word I rather see them talking about investing or some shyt, I don't give a shyt about the process of making an album in 2023

This means he'll be sitting down for an interview with Elliot and Bdot soon. He might enjoy his pop success but he wants to be considered hip-hop, hate him or love him, Elliot Wilson got enough motion on the hip-hop side to make that even harder.

Make what harder?? For Drake?! :deadrose:
